Caring for Your NuLook Results

Proper care after your treatment is essential for maximizing results and minimizing side effects. At NuLook Medical Aesthetics + Wellness, we provide clear, simple guidelines so you can enjoy your results safely and confidently.

General Post-Treatment Guidelines (All Services)

  • Avoid strenuous exercise, heavy sweating, and saunas for at least 24 hours after treatment.
  • Do not touch, rub, or apply pressure to treated areas for the first 4–6 hours.
  • Avoid alcohol for 24 hours post-treatment.
  • Do not schedule dental work or other facial treatments for at least 2 weeks after injectables.
  • Stay well hydrated and follow any specific product or supplement instructions provided by your provider.

Injectables (Botox, Dermal Fillers, PRP)

  • Avoid lying flat for 4 hours after Botox/Dysport.
  • Refrain from makeup application for at least 4 hours post-treatment.
  • Use a gentle cleanser and avoid exfoliation for 48 hours.
  • Mild redness, swelling, or bruising may occur—apply a cool compress if needed.
  • For filler: avoid facials, massage, or pressure on the treated area for 2 weeks.

IV Therapy & Wellness Injections

  • Keep the small bandage in place for 1–2 hours after treatment.
  • Drink extra fluids over the next 24 hours to enhance the benefits.
  • Resume normal activities immediately unless otherwise instructed.

Hair Restoration (PRP/Regenerative Treatments)

  • Avoid washing your hair for 24 hours after treatment.
  • Refrain from using hair products, dyes, or chemical treatments for 72 hours.
  • Avoid sun exposure on the scalp for at least 48 hours.

Medical Weight Loss Programs

  • Follow your prescribed nutrition and exercise plan.
  • Take all medications exactly as directed.
  • Report any unusual symptoms to your provider immediately.

When to Contact Us

  • Significant pain or swelling
  • Signs of infection (fever, redness, warmth, or pus)
  • Blurred vision, severe headache, or dizziness after injectables

Maximize Your Results

Your provider may recommend follow-up treatments or ongoing care to maintain your results. Be sure to keep scheduled appointments and discuss any questions during your follow-up.
